I will be praying the Stations of the Cross this Saturday afternoon — February 21, 2026 — at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Hollywood beginning at 3:30 pm. If you’re in the Los Angeles area, please know that you are welcome to join me.
Confessions are heard at the parish from 3-4 pm, so come early if you’d like to go to confession before praying the stations.
Here are the details:
WHEN: Saturday, February 21, 2026 – 3:30 pm (the vigil Mass for Sunday is at 5 pm)
WHERE: Blessed Sacrament, 6657 W. Sunset Boulevard, Hollywood, CA 90028. Parking is free in the lot accessible from Cassil Place. Meet in the entryway to the church that faces the parking lot.
WHAT: Praying the Stations of the Cross. You may download the prayers here. I will have paper copies of the prayers on hand also.
FORMAT: Large artwork depicting the stations line both sides of the church. We will walk up the middle aisle so that we can see the art clearly without having to crane our necks upward. 🙂 We will pause near each station to genuflect and then read the associated meditation aloud.
HOW LONG: I expect that the meditations will take about 45 minutes to complete.
