It&#8217;s part narrative and part documentary, and the two genres serve each other well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">I don&#8217;t have a movie review at the ready, but I think something I wrote in <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/doxaweb.com\/blog\/2015\/06\/19\/joy-and-sadness-a-world-turned-inside-out\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">my review of <em>Inside Out<\/em><\/a><\/strong> would be relevant here:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"\">Our lives are constantly marked by the reality of being <em>in statu viae<\/em> \u2014 \u201con the way\u201d\u2026 In this life, we are never at home in the sense of a place of final rest. Our lives are shaped continually by hellos and goodbyes of various kinds \u2014 with other people, with places, and with places within.<br><br>While this is true of all people without exception, we sometimes feel isolated, believing that, while we can celebrate the hellos together, we cannot grieve the losses together (even with those we love and who love us). Yet sadness expressed can be isolation overcome.
